Does anyone have any fishing experience on the St. George River (MAG Map 14 B,C-2) in the Appleton/Union area?
I had a friend of a friend tell me that there is good brown trout fishing on this river. I also checked the fish stocking report on the MDIFW website and it shows a late October stocking of browns. I'm planning on fishing this river sometime in 2012. Looks like about an hour drive from Bangor to Appleton, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, heck maybe even an Events commitee nomination for a trip if it's good fishing.

Hello Zach,
I would be interested in a wave leatherman. I couldn't make the last meeting due to work schedule. Anyway, how should we meet? My cell # is 735-6417 anytime.
 Regards, Wayne

Just thought I would ask members how they enjoyed the Commissioners talk at the last meeting and if anyone had any ideas as to who or what they would like for a speaker or activity at the meetings.

This fly, tied with a yellow body, is a great for panfish.
The olive or black bodied versions are well known as good trout flies as well.
I personaly like to use red hackle fibers instead of wool for the tail.

I saw this beautiful quilt up close and personal last evening at the PFF dinner meeting. WOW is an understatement. It is absolutely beautiful. Thanks to Ramune of Surface Matters Longarm Quilting for her extremely generous donation.
